Provider Agreement
Last updated: October 9, 2026 · Version 2026-10-09
This Provider Agreement governs your participation as an independent massage therapist on the EASE for Therapists platform. It supplements the Terms of Service. By applying or accepting bookings, you agree to it.
1. Independent contractor
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of EASE. You control how you perform your services, set your own availability, and supply your own equipment. Nothing here creates an employment or joint-venture relationship. You are responsible for your own taxes.
You operate an independent massage business and may provide services to your own clients and through other platforms. EASE is non-exclusive. EASE does not supervise or direct your massage techniques, pressure, sequence, or other means of performing the service.
2. Eligibility & verification
You must (a) hold and maintain a valid massage license where required by law, (b) carry any legally required insurance, (c) pass identity verification, and (d) complete any background screening EASE requires before your first session. You must keep this information current and notify EASE of any lapse, complaint, or legal action affecting your ability to practice.
3. Standards of service
You agree to arrive on time, deliver professional service within your licensed scope, respect customer boundaries and privacy, and follow EASE's Safety Policy. Sexual, discriminatory, intoxicated, threatening, or otherwise abusive conduct results in immediate removal and possible legal referral.
4. Bookings, cancellation & no-shows
Each offer shows the customer-requested service details and your offered provider compensation. You are free to accept or decline an unaccepted offer without penalty; declining an offer does not lower your ranking, eligibility, or access to future offers. Accept only bookings you can fulfill. Late cancellations, late arrivals, no-shows, safety violations, or other nonperformance after acceptance may lead to the contractual remedies described in the applicable policy. See the Cancellation Policy.
5. Payment & payouts
EASE collects payment from customers and pays you your share via our payment processor after a completed session, net of the platform commission set out in the fee schedule below. Payout timing depends on the processor and your connected account status. Every offer shows your exact earnings and the commission before you accept.
5.1 Payout timing
Standard bank cash-out is available from the app and typically arrives in 1–2 business days, depending on the processor, bank, and your connected account status.
5.2 Fee schedule
Commission is taken on the session base only. Travel pay, any surge, add-on enhancements, and tips are never commissioned — they are 100% yours.
- All bookings: you receive exactly 70% of the session base price and EASE keeps exactly 30%, calculated in whole cents so that the two always add up to the base price. For the current 60-minute ($119) and 90-minute ($159) sessions, that means $83.30 and $111.30 base compensation, respectively. Promotional discounts (such as EASE25) are paid out of EASE's share and never reduce your base compensation.
- Clients you bring (booked through your own EASE booking link): the client relationship is still attributed to you. Launch payout math uses the same provider-favored base split shown above.
5.3 How a client's rate is set
EASE publishes customer prices and offered provider compensation for each marketplace offer. You may accept or reject the offered economics before accepting the booking; EASE does not pay for availability alone. Any change to the service or compensation must be agreed by the customer and therapist before additional work is performed and recorded through the platform where available.
Whether a client is "brought by you" or "brought by EASE" is fixed at that client's first completed booking with you and does not change afterward — so your rate on a returning client never shifts. A client you invite through your link who cancels before their first session is completed, and who later books you through the EASE marketplace instead, is treated as EASE-brought for that booking. Tips remain 100% yours in every case.
If a client opens more than one therapist's booking link before booking, the therapist whose link they opened most recently, within the last 30 days, is the one credited (last-touch). A few points that follow from this, so the rule is never a surprise:
- Opening a link is never a claim. Only a completed booking creates the therapist-sourced relationship; a client viewing your link does not become yours.
- An existing client is not taken from you by a later link. Once a client is your therapist-sourced client, another therapist's link cannot re-assign them — it simply books that other therapist for that session at the standard (EASE-brought) rate. The therapist-sourced rate rewards bringing a new client to EASE, and a client is new only once.
- No booking is ever re-rated after the fact, in either direction — the rate a booking was quoted and settled at is the rate that stands.
6. Ratings
Customers rate sessions. Persistently low ratings may result in removal. Ratings are used to maintain quality and trust on the platform.
7. Confidentiality & data
Treat customer information (identity, address, health notes) as confidential and use it only to provide the booked service. Handle personal data per applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
8. Termination
Either party may end this relationship at any time. EASE may suspend or remove you for violations of this Agreement, the Terms, or the law, or for safety reasons.
